Day of Wind 風之日

silk thread, organza, stone,brass
60 x 18 x 45cm

In this series, I take on the role of a letter writer for others. In ancient times, people who could not write often turned to someone else to compose letters on their behalf.
Here, I work with the words and wishes entrusted to me by others. The messages they hope to express are translated into stone—transforming language into a material form that carries weight, memory, and time.

I believe stones are archives of time, quietly holding layers of memory and human presence. Into fabric, I sew blessings and intentions, allowing the cloth to become a kind of letter.
Sewing is a slow and meditative act. With each stitch, time quietly accumulates—much like memories settling into stone.

These works are not meant to be read aloud, but to be sensed.
