Temporal Study -Flower  時間習題 -花

This work explores the state of time, beginning with the cycles of nature and the subtle perceptions of everyday life.

In the mountains, plants and flowers function as a natural calendar. When certain flowers bloom, people know the seasons have shifted. Yet while the flowers return each year, the observer is never the same. Personal experiences and encounters reshape the way we see. The flower remains, but the gaze changes through the passage of time.
Similarly, stones rolling in the river appear constant, yet their forms are slowly transformed through years of friction and movement. What we encounter in any moment is only the current state of an ongoing process of change.

Here, time is not understood as linear, but as cyclical, layered, and continuously unfolding. The works invite viewers to reflect: when we encounter the same flower or stone again, what has truly changed—the object, or the one who is looking?

以「時間的狀態」作為核心探索,從自然的循環與日常的感知出發,試圖揭示無常中蘊含的深意。
山上的植物與花草,構成了一種天然的曆法。當特定的花綻放時,人便知曉季節的變化。然而,花雖年年再度盛開,觀看者的心境卻隨著個人經驗與遭遇而有所不同。花依舊是花,但凝視的視角卻在時間與事件的濾鏡下被改寫。這種差異,揭示了「循環之中帶著變化」的悖論。

同樣,河裡不斷滾動的石頭,表面看似不變,但其形狀與質感卻因長年的摩擦與推移而改造。每一次的相遇,實際上都是經歷無數次變化後的「當下模樣」。由此可見,任何事物的「此刻」都並非靜止,而是持續生成的狀態。

所謂的「日常」,其實建立在我們對「還有明天」的想像之上。當下的連續感,構成了日常的幻象。展覽中的作品正是試圖將這種時間的流動性、無常性,以及觀者角度的差異,轉化為可見的形式。
在這裡,時間並非被單純理解為線性進程,而是循環的、重疊的、變動的。作品因此不僅呈現出物質的表層,更引導觀者思索:當我們再次遇見同樣的事物時,究竟改變的是花、石頭,抑或是觀看的自己?
