copper, casted bark ,enamel

In this work, I am trying to show my struggles in finding a middle ground between my religion and adapting to a new environment and culture. At a very young age, I undertook buddhism precepts. As I grew older, I started to realized that some of the precepts were extremely hard to follow, especially since I traveled to the States by myself to study at the age of 16. The three bowls present three different mindset of adapting to my new environment.
